Sometimes life's gifts initially seem like a giant pile of horsesh*t!
That's certainly been the case for me over the past four years, but I'm up for the challenge! I'm determined to turn these situations into seeds of great new adventure, and fertilizer to make a bigger impact in the world.
Through this time of struggle, my life mission has become clear ~ to reduce suffering for those with injuries like mine, spread joy, and build community.
Beginning September 2025, I am spending one year “In Walden Van”, my version of stepping away, deeply resetting, and focusing on what matters.
Trusting in the wisdom of the Stoics, I am learning to let go of things I cannot control, find joy in the little things everyday and cherish the amazing relationships in my life.
